Yeah, yeah I knew this would happen

I know. Start a blog. Post for two days. Fuggeddahboutit. I'll try to do better. :)

So it's cloudy. Not as cold as yesterday. Just finished a great lunch - crabcake sandwich from Live Bait. Jealous? You wouldn't be if you saw the fugly samples on my desk which I get to spend the rest of the afternoon critiquing. I'm just looking forward to 6:00 - when I get to go meet Scott at Home Depot and get a Christmas tree - YAY!

We rearranged the living room this weekend. Aren't we exciting for old fucks? Hey, I'm happy about it! We actually have space in there now. My closet however, now has far less. I must do lots and lots of knitting and spinning to regain my closet space.

I needz a nap.

Rainy Tuesday

Wow is it raining here! BF just called and told me the lawn furniture is all over the yard, the table is in pieces and the umbrella (which is an old, huge heavy table umbrella) is now stuck in the garden fence. Le sigh. I would be more pissed off if the deer hadn't already eaten most of the garden, so I guess it was good SOMEBODY got to enjoy all those vegetables!

I have my first class of the fall semester tonight. If it wasn't for tonight's class today would have been a good stay at home and watch movies day. The Yarn Tree is one of my favorite things about my day. It seems like all your day's worries just can't fit through the doorway there, so they have to stay out on the sidewalk until you leave. I enjoy every minute I'm in the store and I love enabling, er I mean teaching new students. I just have to watch the fiber spending - my house is starting to be overrun with tribbles in ziploc bags. Gotta get spinning and reduce the herd.

Gotta watch The Shield tonight too. Hopefully I'll get home early enough to catch the beginning.

Finally!

I finally got my act together enough to set up this blog! Now hopefully I can keep up with it.

Things are slow at work today - I spent the morning dis-assembling old notebooks. Fun. Tonight I have my Spin-City meetup - we're showing off the surf scarf that we all did together as our first spin-a-long/knit-a-long project. I have a bag of prizes for different categories (fastest knit, longest scarf, etc.) along with 10 goodie bags for people attending Stitch 'n' Pitch in two weeks. I'm expecting some sore arms tomorrow.

So tired. I'll try to post more tomorrow.
